Benson Public Schools is seeking a person responsible for all aspects of developing and implementing strength and conditioning program for Benson High School athletes, teams, and students. 

Scope of Position:

  • Establish a philosophy and method of training that will maximize the athletic and competitive success of athletes and students.
  • Deliver strength and conditioning services for BHS athletes, teams, and students.  Scheduling, designing, and administering programming, and being a resource for nutritional education. 
  • Design and daily administration of strengthening, stretching, agility, speed development.
  • Ensure proper supervision of student-athletes, including instruction on safe use of all equipment.
  • Design individualized work-out plans; implement testing programs; maintain appropriate records; monitor and determine effectiveness of programs
  • Exceptional communication skills with students, coaches, and Activities Director.
  • Demonstrate ability to positively influence and motivate students and athletes.
  • Flexible Hours – Before school, after school/evenings, summer hours
  • Pay negotiable

7.25 hrs./day, student days
Assists students who may have learning disabilities, emotional, behavioral disorders and/or physical disabilities, to provide instructional support under the direction of a special education teacher. Training provided. 2-year degree or 2 years of college preferred, not required.

Part - time, 4 days/week, 11:30-3:30 p.m. Working with 4-5 year olds.  Must be at least 18 years old.  Volunteer position with a living stipend, as well as an Eli Segal Education Award upon successful completion of your service term.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Assistant
Job responsibilities include assisting the teacher with projects and activities for children 4-5 yrs. of age.  Applications are available at the Benson Community Education office located at 1400 Montana Ave., Benson, MN 56215 or call 320-843-4545.  Office hours are 8:00-12:30 & 1:00-4:30.

Substitutes for Food Service
Food Service Sub position open:  varied days and hours.
